Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dangerous After wearing the item 3 times, mind you that’s just into the car seat and out, the fill inside starts to seep out. It’s stringy and comes out from everywhere. The fibers in my opinion are long enough and strong enough to be dangerous to a baby. Those can easily can get twisted around tiny fingers. I stopped using mine and hope I can return it. Do not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful color and high quality I bought this outfit for newborn photos for my son. The color is beautiful and it’s very high quality. The quilted texture will be great in photos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and cuddly! This item is so thick and warm and so incredibly soft. When my baby is wearing it he is even more irresistible than usual- I never want to put him down. It is perfect for the chilly drizzly fall days. I was given this as a gift and am back for more because it is my favorite baby item we have been given.

Does this contain any forever chemicals or BPA from the recycled plastic turned into polyester?

Asked by: Dindin
In keeping with our commitment to making safe products for babies and children, we focus on avoiding substances that are both restricted (lead, and harmful phthalates) and ones of potential health concern (nickel, formaldehyde, flame retardants and allergenic or carcinogenic dyes and amines). We do comply with the most stringent state’s requirements, which requires reporting of 66 chemicals. Azo dyes, Phthalates, heavy metals, PFC’s, etc. are not in our products. Any environmental contaminants that may have been present in raw materials would be removed in processing.

I think the product listing is wrong. The GOTS website says "a product with the label grade grade 'organic' must contain a minimum of 95% certified organic fibres" so this product may be certified GOTS but it is not certified GOTS organic.

Asked by: EK44
This product is 76% certified organic cotton, 26% recycled polyester. - Recycled polyester, also known as rPET, has been ranked B grade in the Made-By sustainable fabric ranking. That places it alongside Tencel and Organic Cotton, so it is definitely considered a sustainable fabric. Recycled polyester is made by melting down plastic and spinning it into a new polyester fiber.
