My baby was 3 lbs and spent 44 days in the NICU and another 3 weeks on monitors at home. Once she could wear clothes, she almost always wore this outfit because it was the easiest to get on and off of her, nothing needed to go over her head, she could keep it on for x-rays, it was the easiest to get on and off when she had monitors and an IV. It made us feel better to have her dressed in "her" clothes, not just the NICU onesies. Held up to dozens of washings. Her nurses commented on how great it was so frequently that we donated her to the NICU, along with a couple of extras.

Bought twice for two separate gifts!
I’ve had two friends have preemie babies and this onesie was convenient while in the NICU. The sleeve snaps are great if your baby is monitored and has the cords everywhere. Great quality and washed well.

Perfect for the NICU
I bought this outfit for my son to wear while in the NICU. It’s cute and functional. His nurses very much appreciated the Velcro closures on the shoulders so that they could keep track of his leads.

What is the difference in P and p(up to 5 lb). The size chart doesn’t have both these sizes.
The preemie size is up to 6 lbs. The preemie (up to 5 lbs) is for babies less than 6 lbs.
