The only jeans my son will wear
My son loves these jeans. I am so excited that I found these in his size. He's been wearing the elastic waistband jeans since he was a baby. His tummy is on the bigger size so regular pants don't fit him comfortably in the waist. These are great. The fabric holds up after playing in them and they don't fade in wash after wash.

Inconsistent dye/coloring
Just bought 2 pairs in Blue, and arrived weirdly dyed. Product details say nothing about the wash being striped and tie-dye'ish. In addition after removing the labels/stickers you see darker patches. Presumably a glue/gum residue and hoping not a weird staining/spotting. Don't want to take a risk and wash and then not being able to return. Carter's generally has decent quality, thoughthese are a big miss.

What happened to darker wash
I have a very picky kid and I've bought this style for years in darker wash. This year why are you only selling this light wash? I bought and he refuses to wear them so I had to donate them. This was a constant standby that I counted on each growth spirt. I am disappointed in carters to change this and the weak offering of pull up jeans.
