Cheep ribon used for holding the lace
Not very great the string for the laces where ok but the ribbon that's holding it is not ,so with use eventually it started rubbing each other and ripped apart . I wouldn't recommend it maybe a baby is fine but not for a toddler. I've bought 2 other pair of shoes from carters and they are made cheep. Rather pay more for better quality even target sells better quality.

Very comfortable but not long lasting
My daughter loves these shoes, they are comfortable but after two weeks of regularly wearing to school, I already notice the shoes breaking down. I expected the shoes to last longer.

Happy Kid Happy Mom
Daughter thanked me repeatedly and hugged me over these shoes, she said these were the most comfiest shoes and helped her run fast in Physical Education class because the grips are super well made.

Broke on 2nd day of wearing them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my daughter to wear on her bday bc it was supposed to rain, the shoes are washable so I thought they were perfect for the day! My daughter got excited so she decided to wear them on a Friday for the first time to school, the next day it was her bday and we celebrate at a park! It was a rainy day, when we got back home while she's removing her shoes I noticed the top of the front on both shoes were coming off! I don't recommend these shoes.

What size would a 13 be? Shoes are listed as years??
The Y means Youth size, not years. I believe the company does this so they are not confused with baby or toddler sizes.
