I highly recommend these shoes as a solid summer sandal; they're perfect for any occasion (can be dressed up or down) and are very stylish and comfortable. They have a perfect fit due to the Velcro that allows you to fasten the shoe perfectly to the child's foot and the straps keep the feet secure so they can run and do their usual play etc. the sole of the shoe is a thick rubbery bottom with firmness but flexibility to give the child good support and comfort while wearing them. I am even considering getting a few bigger sizes for future years bc it's not everyday that you can find something so cute and stylish like these shoes! Laila from the Carter's store in Austin, TX is an awesome sales person who I highly recommend if you're in the area! She always helps me to find the perfect items for my kids and will search online etc.
