Bad chemical smell
The website doesn't advertise these boots as being scented. So, I got a pair. It had a strong chemical odor. I sent it back and ordered another pair. The new one had the same bad chemical smell. Reading these reviews, looks like they are scented but not advertised as such on the website. I'll wait for a different pair of rain boots that hopefully is not scented.

Pretty and durable!
My four year old loves rainbow anything so she picked these out in a heartbeat. They seem durable and to have good traction but we haven’t had rain yet to try them out (only dewy mornings). Based on our experience with Carter’s shoes we think they will be great this winter. Only thing I didn’t really understand is the tag said they were “scented”….they smell like new rain boots mostly, and in any case not sure what the appeal of scented shoes might be.
