Tye Dye Cotton Stretch Hipsters
The undies are very cute, and we loved the patterns very much, but the quality was horrible! The undies have very thin fabric and some of the undies tore on several of her pairs that she has worn and had to throw them away. The undies also have absolutely no stretch and if she tries to stretch them the elasitc encasing the trim rips so she has to be careful when pulling her underwear up and down when she goes to potty or is putting on or taking the undies off. Also, the undies are small! Went up 2 sizes and they barely fit her! Lastly, the coverage is not the same anymore. The undies are very cheeky for a 10 year old!
I have bought Carter's underwear for a long time and have always been happy with the undies they make and so has my child but these hipsters and some of the new girls briefs are just horrible! We would definitely like the old quality to come back with the same full-coverage, no wedgies, and soft stretchy fabrics rather than the new undies that are thin, minimal coverage, could be said: disposable underwear! Also, larger sizing would be good too. Most stores now offer larger and even plus sizes. If the quality were good again and more sizes were offered we'd definitely be a repeat customer!

Carter’s Girls Tye Dye Undies
My 4.5 yo daughter wasn’t a fan of these girls tye dye hipster panties. They constantly slide down when she’s playing at daycare or home which often causes her bum to be exposed if she doesn’t constantly pull her pants and undies up. We tried a larger size but that didn’t help the issue either.
Our 8 year old tried these and didn’t like the fit. She didn’t like how low they sat on the front and felt that they sat too low in the back as well. Also, the area around the legholes were a bit tight which isn’t usually a problem with the briefs she has both in the ballerina pack and the 7 pack of floral briefs.
We have a pack of the ballerina girls briefs from Carters as well as the floral girls briefs and they are a much better alternative to these and offer much better coverage for little girls without the wedgies or having to pull up the underwear constantly! Both daughters (4,8) have pack of the ballet briefs and never any issues with them sliding down, coverage issues, or wedgies.
Neither of them liked the tye dye panties and we bought in both size 4/5 and in a size 8 for our older daughter and neither liked the fit or style.

Soft and comfy
Perfect for my 6 year old. Hipster style has great coverage without having a Brief up to her belly button. They are soft and stretchy and did well in the wash (only washed once so far). She likes them enough we purchased another set.

Great patterns for older kids but fit small
My daughter has always worn Carter's underwear ever since she moved out of diapers because they are comfortable, age appropriate, have cute patterns, and they last forever - the older style briefs are substantial. These hipster are somewhere between "good" and "okay." My 9-year-old loves the big kid styling, but they are much thinner, so I have a feeling they will wear out sooner, and fit small compared to the classic style briefs we have always gotten. My daughter still wears a few sets of the briefs with the cute animal patterns on it in a size 8, which fit with room to spare (she's very thin). I bought these hipsters in a size 10/12 for when she decides to move out of the cutesy animal prints (which is apparently now after seeing these - LOL), and they are pretty much the same size as the size 8s but, being "hipsters," cut a smidge lower. I had expected my daughter to move into these hipsters in about a year, but we will probably go ahead and switch to these much sooner since my daughter likes them so much and they fit her now anyway. She doesn't like tight underwear so it's fine.
