Rated 3 out of 5 by from HTTYDrawstrin Outfit is so cute, but I was faked out by a false drawstring once again. The shirt fits perfectly, but the pants fall off as soon as my son stands. He's tall and skinny, so adjustable waistbands are a must for us. I got distracted by my excitement at actually finding something Dragons in his size, and didn't do my due diligence in reading the description to ascertain if the drawstring feature was functional or decorative. Decorative drawstrings are - frankly - stupid. Children's clothes need to be functional. I now have half an outfit my child won't be able to wear until after he's outgrown the matching tshirt. Cute design, fabric feels great, not functional and poor fit

Are the drawstrings on the shorts working drawstrings that can cinch the shorts tighter or are they sewn in and just for show?
