Bought this for my 10year old who is on the tall side but slim and this fit on first fit but then throughout the hour it began to droop at the crotch area. So it looked ill fitted and stretched out. So if your child is petite definitely size down then their regular size. The quality is awesome and color is just as pictured, lovely blue. The length is exactly where I expected but the fit itself was too baggy. So I may take this for myself to lounge in and purchase a different size for her.

My kid is on the chunky side and usually wears size 14 in Carters leggings, although they can be a bit snug. The blue set of these shorts fit perfectly with a little extra room everywhere because of the looser cut. The lavender pair run at least a size larger than the blue ones we got, so they were definitely oversized compared to other size 14 bottoms. I highly recommend these based on comfort, quality and style.
