Not actually fleece
These pajamas are indeed soft; however, they have no business being called fleece. It's more like a lightweight flannel. They aren't even a thick, cozy flannel. These pajamas would be best for the spring; they certainly wouldn't keep you warm in the winter. The drawstring is also non-functional. If they were a thick, cozy fleece, I would keep them. However, the price is just not worth the quality. Sadly, another example of Carter's quality becoming cheaper and cheaper.

My daughter love it
I used to buy the same pj for my daughter for the last 5 years now she is 11 years old and she live it every time! I like that it is not a thick fleece it is just enough to warm yet still comfortable to play while wearing it. I wish the drawstring is functional that’s all.

Drawtstring is only a decoration
I bought this for my skinny daughter hoping that we can adjust the waist by the drawstring. It is not the case, and the pants are too big for her. Sadly I had to send them back (even if my daughter really loved them until she actually tried them on).

Comfy, but not fleece
I was hoping for fleece PJ pants as indicated, but these are not fleece at all -- they're more like a lightweight flannel fabric. If you're looking for that rather than a true fuzzy fleece, these are soft and comfortable. If you're looking for actual fleece, you'll be disappointed.
