Are the whale version actually 100% cotton, like the description says? Or are the grey parts part polyester? If they are, are they recycled polyester?

The body is 100% Cotton. The trim is 60% Cotton, 40% Polyester. The soles are 65% Polyester, 35% Cotton (for 9 months and up).
