Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket! It's a very nice jacket, a little lighter weight then I thought but that is fine. Got it for back to school, my son has yet to wear it but he liked it when he saw it. It will go really nice with the back to school outfits.

Why does the size chart have double entries for each size but with different measurements listed? How do I know which ranges to use when deciding between size 7 and size 8?

The measurements between boy and girl are slightly different. You can see which measurement is which on the far right hand side where it will list 'boy' or 'girl'. Carter's clothing is generally recommended by height and waist size of the child. Please check our size charts, for the best fit.- https://www.carters.com/size-chart
