My 6-month grandson was sitting on my knee playing with the little trees (?) on the activity center with his feet. Next thing I know, he has a cut on the top of his foot. I may be an overprotective grandparent, but I find that unacceptable.

Is this bpa and flame retardant free?

Phthalate-free. Note: we also say “BPA-free” on many products. This is a chemical which may be found in polycarbonate, a hard, clear plastic sometimes used in baby bottles and the like. We do not use polycarbonate, so BPA is not a concern for us, but many consumers are not aware of this detail, so we spell it out. The items are naturally flame retardant because they adhere to the flammability safety standards. In order to meet this standard, items must burn at a specific rate in order to be deemed safe. Chemical flame retardants are added to products in order to slow down potential burning. The materials we use, allow for slow burning as if they were treated with chemical flame retardants, which allow us to meet safety standards.

I have the activity center but my baby seems to get bored now with the toys that it comes with. Do you have or will you be releasing additional toys that can be added that we can purchase separately so we can switch them up for play time?

I found a Skip Hop Activity Center for $8.00 at a yard sale. The piano doesn't work. Replacements on E-bay are around $30 but that is too much when I only paid $8.00 for it with 3 toys attached. I think the company should have parts available.
